Most teachers spend their own money buying supplies for classrooms and students

Parents and students are not the only ones scouring the Sunday advertisements for back-to-school deals. So are teachers. In addition to decorations for their classrooms, instructors are buying basic supplies — paper, pens, glue, crayons — to cover students who don’t have them.
