CES 2010: CooliT Universal Graphic Card Cooler
Albert talks with Barry at CooliT about a universal GPU cooler named OMNI. OMNI is pretty much a 3 part system, the cover plate, the interchangeable plate and the cooler. When you want to upgrade a card, you simply buy a new interchangeable plate for that specific card and your good to go. No more buying entire kits and blocks to fit a new card, just swap in the new plate and the loop is uninterrupted.

@bremstone Yep you can
I wouldn’t buy this, without a doubt it will be as loud as the stock GTX 480 cooler.
I owned a Coolit Domino ALC (which was praised for being silent)…yet the freaking thing sounded like a jet engine…coolit sucks..
Doing your own custom W/C loop will always beat any kit and it will have better price/ performance ratio too.
You are correct about having your own liquid cooling setup Juggalo but that would cost you $200-$300 while a closed loops system is maintenance free costs 1/3 the price and gives you 80%-90% of the performance you would with your own setup. Look at the horsair H50 $80 CPU cooler. East to install maintenance free and fricken awesome.
The corsair is a closed loop. Also the Venomous X 60bucks and Megahalem air coolers that are cheaper can beat it or match it. The h50 gives the user to say “hey I am water cooling” but does not know how water cooling works.”(not all but some) Then they try to mod the h50/put new tubing on the single 120mm rad add a 20 buck res to the supposed closed loop.Not any more when they do the mods of course Then the h50 goes kaput and wonder why. Plus you slap it in there like a air cooler to.
If you want to do water cooling do it right. It is a given it cost money. I saved up for it and got want I wanted. You can do a loop for 200-240 cpu only. Will cost more when you add a gpu and etc. Also you can save money by joining a computer forum like I did. I am the Water Cooling Editor there now. Then buy from there market place from other members to save money.
6months-1yr is when you should do maintenance on a loop. It is not that hard.
@juggolo This is just a pathetic joke. They shouldn’t be allowed to call this Liquid cooling this is only for those people who don’t want to spend any money but still be able to say they have liquic cooling. This thing performs worse then on air!
calm down… for a budget system, closed loop is excelent. it can be silent while performing as good(if not better) than most of air cooler while giving a cleaner look in the case (here I talk about the h50). And I know what is liquid cooling, I liquid cooled 3 friend pc…
and, yes, this is liquid cooling. It use liquid…:)
@mat967
You will be surprised.
Now this is a cool gpu cooler for the gtx 470 or 480s.
Can this be used on Ati Radeon HD 5970?
since it’s a very big grapics card
were can i buy this in BRITAIN!?!?!
gota get me one of these! but il need 2 plates
@BKsMassive yeah same, i know u can get from the US but it would be a pain to RMA it if something goes wrong.
@kaysniper
i think these are not for overclocking…. :/
just a different way to cool apart from air
they be fine for overclocking just get the duel 120mm rad and use 4 1500rpm push pull fan gg
single 120mm cools 300 watts on a single GPU that like a Accelero XTREME 5970 cooling it to 40c. I was reading this on there web page and if this is true i’ll buy one when it comes out, if not i wont.
Please help i want to buy a new graphic card.
My computer has RAM: 2 GB / 16 GB (Max.) – DDR3 SDRAM – ECC – 1333 MHz – PC3-10600
My network adapter: PCI Express
Can i use a DDR5 graphic card?
@Rhynorune What Cpu do u have???
anyone know when the Omni Vga cooler coming out???
Kinda small block…wonder how the flow is…
@Rhynorune yes u can
That plate looks like it just contacts the gpu though. Does it contact ramchips and such?
