what computer case power supply and motherboard should i buy to start a gaming computer.?
i want to make a computer but i want to get a good gaming comp start so i can easily upgrade the kit and i would like it to stay under 500 bucks for the parts (Case+motherboard+Power supply) not including accessory that i will buy later like graphics card, ram, and ,gaming mouse and keyboard…

ok what i was meaning was that i want a good motherboard for a "Thermaltake Armor Case w/ 250mm Side Panel Fan – Black" so i can start upgrading i wanted under 500 because i want a good base but i only plan to spend about 2k total on it.

As I understand you want to spend $500 only on case/mobo/PSU and possibly CPU? You will have to get CPU before you will install mobo in the case. For under $500 it’s hard to fit i7 processor and motherboard, you can only get mobo and case/PSU for about 300-400, but cheapest good i7 930 will cost $290. So I would go with AMD setup – like six core Phenom II 1055T for $200 and add motherboard with one of the new chipsets like 870 or 880G or 890GX, last 2 include graphics, so that you can only add RAM and start working on it (even without HDD/DVD, you can test it). AMD 890GX will cost about $140, and it can be purchased with CrossFire support for dual ATI cards.
As for the case – cheaper ones but good nevertheless – Antec 300, Thermaltake Element T, Raidmax Quantum. More expensive – Antec 900 (and 900 II), Antec 600, excellent case – Cooler Master CM690 II – comes with bunch of cases and greatest cabling options, plus additional fans and vid card support panel – one of the best cases I have dealt with. Also it’s big enough to fit any components.
Power supply – Corsair CMPSU are good, reliable, but no modular design. I would pick little cheaper Antec EarthWatts Modular, or Thermaltake TR2 series, Cooler Master Silent PRO is good too. But Corsair would be great too – just too many cables to hide.
As for the NZXT Nemesis – it looks good, but cooling is so-so , top mounted PSU does not let top fans to be installed – they help greatly with exhaust, also very hard wiring in Nemesis – no space to run cables behind DVD/HDD cages or behind mobo. Front fan is blocked by HDD cage and side fan may have to go out since it may interfere with most high-end CPU coolers.
Thermaltake Armor – ridiculously heavy and still does not provide good cooling, even with huge side fan.
Stick with cases with bottom mounted PSU – it’s the future, best build and best performance can be achieved with them.
With AMD 1055T CPU, AMD 870 mobo, Antec TruePower PSU and Cooler Master CM690 II i made it at $510 in the shopping cart. You can save by picking cheaper AMD Phenom II X4 955 or 965. Also you can opt out for Core i5 750 and P55 combo for about the same.

Good luck staying under 500 bucks, for a gaming computer you would probably need that mostly just on the motherboard, plus you should also get the processor right away too, as they are usually sold in bundles.
I have an armor + case and it is the shit! the next case you chose has that lame door on it. so go for one of the armor’s. as for psu’s get a CORSAIR 650, 750 or 1000w psu depending on your needs and as for motherboards I have always had good luck with ASUS motherboards. get thesse parts and you will not be disappointed.
