The probem is , My power supply is 460 W and I was wodering if it will be powerful enough to run the system ?

Hi guys, im currently selecting parts to buy to build a computer and i came across a bunch of power supplies with 135mm fans but pretty much all the cases i see have only 120mm fan slots
and for barebones computer kits, the case it comes with only has a 120mm fan slot while the power supply it comes with has a 135mm fan so im really confused

my question is
can i put a power supply with a 135mm fan on a case that only has a 120mm fan slot??

One morning, my PC simply wouldn’t start up. I was told that this could only be the power supply. This system (HP Media center m1050y) has, if I’m correct, a 300 W power supply. With everything this unit has to support, 300W seems underpowered. Can I replace it with something a little beefier, say 5 or 600W, or is that too "Tim the tool man"? I’m female, by the way, so even if it’s ok to get a larger Power supply, how would I know if it is compatible or am I forced to get the part from HP… it is no longer under warranty. Could sure use some help, here. If it could be something other than the power supply, what else might it be? Currently, my entire life is in a metal box in the middle of the floor flat-lining!

I have a dell optiplex 320 and have had it for about 4-5 years. Recently I’ve had a bunch of orange blinking lights and have tried a bunch of solutions only to end up with a bad power supply.

Through that I thought I might as well buff up some other parts. So I was wondering if they sold an individual power supply in regular shops like best buy? If so, would I be better off buying online in terms of prices?
